06.08.2008 - "Bristolian" equipped with new Reckmann UD5c furler
The latest launch of Yachting Developments (NZ), the light displacement composite sloop "Bristolian", is equipped with two Reckmann hydraulic under deck furling units. For the blade it is a UD5c furling gear with carbon foils and integrated manual backup drive. The real time adjuster has a stroke of 150mm. The staysail is furled and tensioned by our new CZ12ts staysail unit. This soft-luff furler is installed flush deck and provides an adjuster stroke of 300mm. more
