24.01.2012 - Antares III - World Superyacht Award finalist
Having just completed her maiden cruising the South Pacific Islands, Antares III, the 30m composite sloop built by New Zealand shipbuilders Yachting Developments, has been announced as a finalist in the 2012 World Superyacht Awards under the category of ‘Sailing Yachts, 30m-40m size range’. Antares III was designed by Dixon Yacht Design and interior designed by Rhoades Young Ltd. This was an outstanding project for the team at Yachting Developments who handed Antares III to the owner in May after an unheralded 400 days build time. Antares is equipped with Reckmann RF90 furling systems with carbon foils.
