RECKMANN POWER PACK II
Power pack size 2 is a small, powerful hydraulic unit with an anodised aluminium reservoir. By using anodised aluminium throughout we have achieved maximum corrosion resistance and a weight of only 48 kg (106 lbs) with five functions.The unit is suitable for controlling roller furlers, mast furling systems, foot outhauls, hydraulic winches from various manufacturers (e.g. LEWMAR up to 54 HST) and many different kinds of ramps, doors and platforms. Note however that this unit is not suitable for powering larger winches. In this case please select a more powerful unit from the Reckmann range (e.g. power pack size 3).
The standard version provides control for 5 functions, which can be extended to 10 functions if required. The unit is supplied fully wired to an electrical control box (circuit board) and can thus be controlled via simple push buttons.
The special design of this unit provides for convenient and time saving maintenance because all parts are accessible without having to open the fluid reservoir. All functions are indicated by LED's, thus simplifying fault finding. An integral fan and thermal switch prevent overheating of the 3 kW electric motor during overload conditions.
An oil sight glass for visual inspection of the fluid level is provided and an additional electrical oil level check will report any loss of fluid. The suction line of the pump incorporates a filtering system, which protects valves and motors from contamination.
Vibration dampers on all 4 supporting locations guarantee smooth and quiet operation.
