For furling systems with profiles
Our tried and tested halyard swivels for foresail furling systems with profiles are distinguished by their low friction, even when bearing heavy loads. This prevents the profile from becoming entangled when bearing heavy loads.
All halyard swivels are therefore built to be lightweight in order to save on weight aloft. Where the weight aloft plays a specific role, we also offer halyard swivels made from aluminium and titanium.
The compact halyard swivel for all smaller profiles. These universal halyard swivels feature stainless steel mounting and changeable sliding inserts.
The standard halyard swivels used for all larger profiles are distinguished by their smooth bearings and compact construction. Changeable inserts means that they can be used for different profile sizes.
Aluminium swivel for the combination with carbon fibre profiles. The weight aloft can be reduced when compared with conventional stainless steel halyard swivels, because of the construction and choice of materials used.
Carbon fibre and titanium halyard swivels for carbon fibre profiles up to size 8.5. By choosing this material, the halyard swivels only weigh around half as much, while taking on twice the workload of comparable stainless steel halyard swivels.
Swivels up to size 9 are tied to the halyards using a double lashing. This tying method saves weight and reduces the heeling moment of aluminium halyard swivels
