Reckmann electric furler retrofit for Amel yachts

Good news for all Amel owners - Reckmann has launched a retrofit set for electric furlers onto the market. This equally powerful and durable equipment can, thanks to simple plug & play installation be retrofitted into all Amel models.

The round-the-world yachtsmen Anneliese and Manfred Stoll, have since 2011 sailed from La Rochelle into the Mediterranean and then in five years circumnavigated the world, in their AMEL 64 ‘Tulasi’. On board they profit from the electric Reckmann furlers, which control the cutter sail and the genoa. “Above all on the high seas we must be able to rely 100 per cent on the furlers. During the whole voyage both furlers delivered the best possible performance under all conditions. This contributed greatly to our safety at sea. In all weathers we could both furl and unfurl the sails.”

Reckmann’s worldwide service network added extra safety, always ready to help and advise. To sum up: “We would always fit ‘Tulasi’ with Reckmann furlers again”.
