More hydraulic power at Reckmann

The new series of hydraulic cylinders and backstay adjusters increase the performance of your boat considerably, minimizing servicing and maintenance.

Standard cylinders generally reach an operating pressure of max. 350 bar. With an operating pressure of up to 440 bar the new product line HCL.II, HVG.II and HIA.II hydraulic cylinders deliver unbeatable performance. All valves and lines including the pressure gauge are integrated into the housing. This reduces the danger of tangled lines enormously.

Additional advantages of the new Reckmann cylinder: A two stage pump system with lockable pump lever. The system reacts automatically when the pressure ratios change. When there is less pressure the pump conveys more oil than at high pressure so that it is easier to pump a smaller volume. Using an integrated relief valve the individual functions can be continuously fine-tuned.

Reckmann’s choice of materials follows their proven benchmark standards: Outstanding products can only be developed using outstanding materials. The CNC technology used for hydraulic cylinders is high-value stainless steel, duplex steel and seawater resistant aluminium. The optically attractive surface finish is achieved by anodizing.

The products’ success speaks for itself with numerous well-known grand prix and cruising yachts relying on the quality of Reckmann hydraulics. The systems are to be found, among others, on board RC44 one-design class boats as well as the super yachts Baltic 112 ‘Nilaya’ and the Wally 148 ‘Saudade’.
