MYS: 70 % of all sailing yachts use Reckmann equipment

125 of the most spectacular superyachts worldwide, 42 world premieres and 580 exhibitors ­­– for the 38th time the superlatives of water sports are returning for the greatest international luxury yacht exhibition in Monaco.  For Reckmann Yacht Equipment, one of the leading manufacturers of roller-reefing systems, the event is already a major success.

From 25 to 28 September in Port Hercules, the Monaco Yacht Show will once again flamboyantly celebrate the end of the summer season in a fitting manner: The most impressive luxury yachts, long sought-after market innovations, the most famous shipyards worldwide, top designers and ship outfitters are on hand again this year to win over a wide ranging audience of yacht owners, crews and prospective customers.

Naturally, it is a given that Reckmann Yacht Equipment is showcasing at this traditional leading exhibition in the large yacht sector. As one of the leading manufacturers of roller-reefing systems, Reckmann can already take very positive stock: 7 out of 10 participating sailing yachts are equipped with Reckmann’s roller-reefing systems or rigging hydraulics.

This year the ‘Child of Lir’, ‘EGI4’, ‘Ghost’, ‘Liara’ and ‘Lush’ have put their faith in the advantages of Reckmann’s head-sail furlers. The ‘Swan 115’ showcased here is already the third yacht built by Nautor Swan to be fully-equipped with Reckmann furlers.  

As to rigging hydraulics, the ‘All About U 2’ sailing yacht is fitted with a Reckmann HVG-260 boom vang and backstay cylinders. The HVG hydraulic vang features an unbeatable power spectrum.  Where materials are concerned, too, Reckmann is not into any compromises: The CNC custom-made hydraulic cylinders consist of high quality stainless steel, duplex steel and seawater-proof aluminium.
