Superyacht Cup 2018: the winners have been decided!

Thrilling to the very end: Following an exciting week in Palma de Mallorca the winners of the Superyacht Cup Palma 2018 have now been decided. The Reckmann crew would particularly like to congratulate the crews taking part on “WinWin” and “Q” on this year’s win. Fitted with Reckmann Superyacht furling systems, both yachts were able to maintain a successful lead in this big-name competition.

Overall, 13 of the 18 sailing vessels participating this year started the 22nd Superyacht Cup with Reckmann furling systems. At the end of the four-day regatta two of the yachts fitted with Reckmann furlers were able to win through and clinch victory.Congratulations are due to the crew members of the Baltic “WinWin” for repeating their success in Class A of the Superyacht Cup. “WinWin” is fitted with a UD-5sc from Reckmann Yacht Equipment and was converted during spring with a torsional stay. The yacht “Q”, which is fitted with three RF90-6.5 furling systems, won the “Corinthian Class Contest” which took place for the first time.
