METSTRADE, the biggest global trade fair for ships’ equipment, is opening its doors this year in Amsterdam to showcase the latest products, services, plant and systems in the marine leisure industry. As the only international B2B fair, METS provides a platform for innovations and market developments, networking, congresses and forums.

Reckmann Yacht Equipment also has a real innovation on board for you. In Hall 1 we are celebrating a premiere with the initial showcasing of our electric propulsion design for the proven below-deck furler. The BLDC motors, made in Germany, are on a par regarding their performance with hydraulic drive designs and are really convincing with their soft start, speed monitoring and overload protector device. Thanks to the experienced engineering teams, all electric drives are encased, waterproof and equipped with manual emergency drive.

We have a new product feature for you from the world of sun sails on our Sailtec stand in Hall 11. We have further optimized the SunFLIP carbon poles: Power transmission is now carried out by induction. Instead of conventional cable connections, DMX or DALI lighting control signals are transmitted cable-free via the induction unit. The illuminated carbon poles subtly underscore your yachts’ outer-lighting.
